Make sure you check out our horses accomplishments in the showpen as well as those horses offered for sale. We have alot of excellent quality reining and cowbred horses available for sale at all times. Whether they are young prospects or finished show or ranch horses they are all under the best of care in very capable hands. Those finished are ready to go to the showpen to win for you or ready to go to the pasture to work cattle and do ranch work. Fred works all of his reining horses on cattle during their training. The young ones are fit and ready to go to the next level.
Fred is known for his soft touch and his horses are great minded in and out of the showpen . Many of the horses Fred has trained are shown and ridden year after year and are not just great athletes but have great attitudes.
Fred has been training horses for 25+ years. He received a degree in Equine Management from the equine bachelor degree program in Lamar Colorado.
He started showing horses in the youth division at the age of 9 and started training professionally after completing his college degree. Fred was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas.
He shows at the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) and AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) level as well as coaching non-pros and amateurs in reining and roping. Fred does various clinics throughout the year and welcomes visitors at any time to come enjoy the sport of reining and roping with him.
Fred runs his training operation with his wife Susan and assistants in Louisburg, Kansas at Eby Stables, a beautiful 75 acre ranch south of Kansas City. It is a new, state of the art facility owned by Joe and Angela Eby with 20 heated stalls, a 110 x 200 indoor arena and 160 x 275 outdoor arena. Fred trained in Germany for 8 years. He earned European Champion Titles in Reining, Trail and Pleasure in Germany and Austria, as well as winning NRHA championships in major reining events in Germany.
Fred also competes in the USTRC Roping Events and roping is his life long passion in addition to the reining and cowhorses. He started roping at the age of 9.
Fred is a "Purina Ambassador" and rides for "The Brand". He is proudly sponsored by Purina Mills and stands behind their great feed products. All of his horses are fed either Purina Strategy or Purina Ultium feeds.
Fred is also an influential for Prime Performance Nutrition.
He is one of their team members and uses their outstanding supplements on his performance horses.
