![]() The training facility is located 3 miles south of Louisburg, Kansas at The Eby Ranch, owned by Joe and Angela Eby. It sits on 75 beautiful acres, partially wooded, with several fenced pastures for horses and cattle.
The 20 stall show barn is heated and insulated with separate office and tack rooms. It has two wash racks with grooming areas. The stalls are 12' x 12' with rubber mats and automatic waterers.
The indoor arena is 110 x 200 with ground that consists of sugar sand .This perfect combination of sand and clay is the best ground there is for reining horses. It allows for good stopping and also is good cushion for the horses legs. The indoor arena is set up for roping with an automatic roping chute, raised stripping chute and return alley for the cattle. The entire arena is lined with a 4 foot solid kick wall.
The outdoor piped arena is 160 x 275 and has the same ground of sugar sand as well. It is also set up for cattle with the automatic roping chute, raised stripping chute and return alley. There are several turn out pens as well as round pens for the horses to be turned outside for exercise.
The facility was designed jointly by the Ebys and the Berschauers. Joe Eby competes in the USTRC Roping Events. The three Eby children compete in the Missouri-Kansas Youth Rodeo Association and the Christian Youth Rodeo Association. Their son, Samson, competes in the Mutton Busting. Their daughter, Olivia, competes in the Goat Untying and the Poles and is getting ready to do Barrel Racing. Their oldest daughter, Taylor, competes in the Goat Untying, the Barrel Racing, and the Pole Bending.
